Sandy Kim is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science, going into her fourth year. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science (Pre-Legal Concentration) from Benedictine University. Her primary fields of study in the doctoral program are Research Methodology and Public Law. Sandy's research interests include the courts, LGBT politics, religion and politics, and survey methodology. Sandy is also on track to receive her Graduate Certificate in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies, and hopes to continue incorporating these interests into her research and teaching.
